About Easts Shaws Kennel & Cattery
East Shaws boarding kennels & cattery is a family run business situated in the outskirts of Barnard Castle. The business was established in 2003, by the directors Clive & Shirley Sowerby. We share a love for all animals, and this drives our work for the well being of both our own pets, and those entrusted to our care.
We have over 40 years experience of caring for all sorts of animals. This includes looking after our own 7 dogs, 2 donkeys, 2 horses and 2 cats.
Our kennels & cattery are open every day of the year, however we are closed on bank holidays - this means that we will still look after your pet, however we do not have pick ups/ drop offs on these days. There is no extra charge for boarding on bank holidays - even at Christmas!
We aim to make your pets' stay with us as comfortable and stress-free as possible, and we welcome a visit before booking. Just call us for an appointment to view our premises, between 9:30 am -10:30 am.
